About Mission Driven Catholic

Our Story

In March 2022, our founder and president, Dr. Daniel Baillargeon, made the decision with his wife Megan to start Mission Driven Catholic. He began with consulting work that autumn and officially became an LLC on January 1, 2023.

On January 1, 2024, Mission Driven Catholic became a non-profit and has applied for 501(c)3 nonprofit status with the Federal Government. This status helps us to better live out our philanthropic mission of assisting Catholic educators, leaders, and families to witness to and advance the evangelizing mission of the Church.

Who We Are

We are a Catholic apostolate working to revitalize Catholic schools to fully embrace their mission to be centers of evangelization for students and their families.

What We Do

We help Catholic school communities encounter Christ. We recruit, form, and equip Catholic school leaders to transform their communities. We continue to support them to pursue the evangelizing mission of the Church.

Why We Do What We Do

Our apostolate springs from five core beliefs:

  • We want to save souls. Christ has commissioned all of us to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples.
  • We live in a post-Christian culture hostile to Christian belief and practice. We must be intentional witnesses to the Faith, or the prevailing culture will ultimately overwhelm our families.
  • Parents are the primary educators of their children, particularly in matters of the Faith, and they need encouragement and formation to fulfill this role.
  • Religious practice in the U.S. is in decline. Catholic schools, when fully living their mission, are uniquely positioned to revitalize the Church.
  • Being present to one another is an extension of the Eucharistic love of Christ.

What Makes Us Different

We prioritize presence:

  • We discern with you.
  • We pray with you.
  • We accompany you throughout the process.
  • We stay connected to you.
